Worcester nonprofit Spectrum Health Systems, a mental health and addiction treatment provider, has issued $137,000 in grants to organizations supporting those in recovery, seven of which are located in Worcester, and all but four of which are in Central Massachusetts. Spectrum's Community Impact Committee, established in 2022, selected the thirteen total Massachusetts organizations. The grants are aimed at providing relief to the communities where the provider is based, according to a Tuesday press release from Spectrum.
